The Turkic American Alliance (TAA), the largest national Turkic organization in the US, held hold its fourth annual Turkic American Convention in Washington, D.C., in cooperation with the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON), the Rethink Institute and the Turkic American Chamber of Commerce (TACC).
There were 4 Forum Sessions deliberating on issues concerning the New Silk Road Initiatives, the Eurasian Energy Corridor and energy security, the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and U.S. strategic partnership and cooperation in Central Asia.
Nearly 800 people, including 4 U.S. Senators, 39 U.S. Representatives, and 4 Turkish Parliamentarians attended the event.
