The Turkic American Conventions and Business Summit is highly attended by the U.S. Members of Congress, Members of Turkic Parliaments, Ambassadors, Mayors, Governors, Secretaries of State, and representatives from the Departments of State, Defense, Energy and Commerce, USAID and the United Nations. In addition, we have also organized several country specific conventions such as the US-Azerbaijan, US-Kazakhstan and US-Kyrgyzstan Conventions in collaboration with our member federations.
Last year’s 5th Annual Turkic American Convention and Business Summit hosted 800 guests from as many as 15 countries and all corners of the U.S. Overall, more than 100 Members of U.S Congress participated in the meetings and activities during the convention. This year, we will continue our collaboration with the Turkic American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) by incorporating a business summit to this flagship event.
The 6th Annual Turkic American Convention and Business Summit offers participants an opportunity to engage and meet with other leading international businesspersons and civic leaders from the United States, Central Asia and Africa. The convention is an ideal platform to explore potential areas for collaboration, to tap into a future oriented, adept network of professionals and to discuss future investment plans and mutual business agreements. This year, we are expecting more than 200 business leaders from Turkic countries, Africa and the U.S.
The Convention will officially kick off with a Welcome Reception at the U.S. Senate Dirksen Building on Tuesday, March 15th. It will be attended by members of the U.S. Senate and their senior advisors as well as participants from U.S. and worldwide. This premier event will bring even more diverse voices from members of the U.S. legislative branch.
The second day will begin with a business breakfast which will allow guests to hear from distinguished guests and keynote speakers. This will also serve as an introduction to all the business leaders from the specific Turkic and African countries, where they will get a chance to interact with one another. Following the breakfast, the convention participants will attend business meetings in the US Congress and with government officials along with attending networking events throughout the day.
A Gala Dinner will wrap up the Annual Turkic American Convention and Business Summit. The receptions will provide attendees with an exceptional occasion to meet with members of the U.S. Congress, high-ranking Government Officials and Ambassadors, Representatives of National Organizations, influential think tank groups, and prominent media persons delivering keynote speeches and remarks. Various business representatives from specific Turkic and African countries, as well as leaders of both private and public sectors of the U.S. will also attend these two signature events.
A stand-alone event will be organized by the The Turkic American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) on March 13-14, 2016 in New York and New Jersey, and will include business networking meetings. Those interested to attend should register at the TACC Website, www.tradeglobal.us. Feel free to contact Celil Yaka, President of TACC via firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
Registration is by invitation only and will be sent through email including a link where guests can RSVP. Once invitees have confirmed their attendance, we will send a special convention agenda that will include useful information to help invitees when they arrive in Washington, D.C.
